Commenting on the news, Jim Gunderson said:  “We are gratified to have implemented a smooth leadership transition for our Chapter.  We’re quite fortunate to have such a diverse and talented pool of dedicated Chapter directors to draw from for these important roles.”

Ken Kopelman added, “Pamela has been a tremendous asset to our Chapter, and I look forward to working with her to continue to serve our membership, as we focus on practical boardroom issues facing directors in today’s environment.  On behalf of NACDNY, I want to express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Jim Gunderson for his selfless service and steadfast leadership over the years.  Last but not least, I want to welcome Rich Girgenti -- to have someone of Rich’s caliber step in as treasurer is a tribute to the quality of the organization.”
