The vast unknown that is Cyber/IT Risk remains a challenge for directors. Where and how boards gain

not just an understanding, but a strategic expertise in the boardroom may be the most important issue

facing corporate boards today.

The NACD New York Chapter is assembling an expert panel to address the future of Cyber/IT Risk as it

pertains specifically to directors; from the risks of being ill-prepared to the consequences of an adverse

IT event, despite whatever best efforts were put in place to prepare and prevent catastrophe; to

understanding when and how often boards look outside their organizations to identify risks and/or to be

able to engage management on equal footing when addressing risks presented by management.

The landscape is filled with IT/Cyber risk events, but if you are a director in the tristate area, you should

not miss this one!
